What is EVOO score?

EVOO Score is a new way to compare olive oils. The most important factors for quality olive oil are taken into account and totalled up to a final score.

It's more meaningful to compare olive oils using their EVOO Score rather than just their polyphenol count. EVOO Score includes polyphenol content but also considers other important factors such as filtration status, acidity, harvest year, lab report availability, and more. This makes EVOO Score a much more well rounded value to quickly compare oils with.

The goal of EVOO Score is to hold producers to a higher standard, rewarding those that make the best olive oil and publish third party lab reports to prove it.

We have also created an EVOO Score leaderboard that features every oil listed on the website.

EVOO Score can range from 0 to 950.
